Software for people who swing hammers.
Plan Pull exists because estimating is the worst part of a contractor's week — and because it doesn't have to be. We're building the companion that a contractor actually wants in the truck with them: fast, accurate, loyal, and never full of it.
Three hours to count studs. Three minutes with Plan Pull.
The idea came from watching a second-generation framer named Rob eat his lunch on a tailgate at 9pm on a Tuesday. He'd spent the whole evening with a scale ruler and a highlighter, doing a takeoff for a 3,400 sqft custom home bid. The takeoff that cost him his family dinner — that was the cheap part of the bid.
Commercial estimating software exists, but it's built for corporate GCs with a dedicated estimating team and a $15,000/year budget. It's slow, it's bloated, and it assumes you have a W-2 employee whose entire job is pushing buttons. That's not what America's building economy actually looks like. America's building economy is five guys in a truck, and the owner is also the estimator, also the project manager, also the one picking up the materials at 6am.
Plan Pull is for Rob. Upload a plan. Tell us what trade you are. Get a real takeoff, cost range, and a stack of vendor phone numbers in three minutes. Go home for dinner.
The way we build.
Speed beats sophistication.
The best tool is the one you actually open. We'd rather give you a 90% answer in 3 minutes than a 99% answer in 3 hours. You can always refine — you can't always get your evening back.
Your plans stay yours.
We don't sell, license, or share your drawings. We don't train public AI models on them. When you delete a project, it's deleted. Your customers trust you with their house. You should be able to trust us with their plans.
Honest about what AI gets wrong.
Plan Pull is excellent at counting, measuring, and looking things up. It is not a licensed engineer and it does not replace your judgment. Every report shows you what it found and where — so you can cross-check before you put your number in front of a customer.
Priced so the math works.
One $199 plan is cheaper than one hour of your time. If Plan Pull doesn't save you more than it costs, you shouldn't pay for it — so we give you three free takeoffs before we ever ask for a card.
